MEET THE OWNERS
Callington Mill Distillery is a true family owned business, perfect symmetry betweenn the Nicolas Family and the Ibrahim family. Salim & Danny Nicolas are twin brothers that started Dasco contruction & building. Recipients of the Order of Australia (OAM) both brothers are passionate whisky lovers.
John Ibrahim started his business career with Mobil & Caltex. John, Salim & Danny have partnered in numerous service stations and ancillary businesses.

OUR TIMELINE
2015
John started his whisky journey at Old Kempton Distillery in 2015.
2016
In 2016 John, Salim and Danny together invested in Shene Distillery at Pontville - aligned with Damian Mackey and David Kernke.
Shene was sold to Lark Distilling Co. in January 2022,
2017
In 2017 they further invested in Lark Distillery (formerly known as Australian Whisky Holdings) which owned the Lark, Nant and Overeem brand. (Lark subsequently sold the Overeem brand back to the Overeem family).
CALLINGTON MILL
Their strong friendship, passion for whisky and business alliance was a natural progression that led to the formation of Callington Mill Distillery.
